good neighborhood, though somewhat difficult to find your way around, cabs always available, no need to buy anything except food

* Food:

get empanadas at La Americana, try the provoleta somewhere

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

basketball game, group dinner

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

definitely need to be aware of your surroundings, not dangerous if you're smart about things

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? very easy to spend little money if you want, but if you want to experience different things definitely need to bring at least $250 USD

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Take advantage of any unique opportunity you get, nap in your free time if you get home early from a field trip (nights go late there), make sure to meet people
