Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The classes are much smaller, my biggest class had about 20 kids in it. Professors expect more of you and expect to do a lot of presentation.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Figuring out the residents permit was not very well explained before getting here and there really wasn't advice or help with it.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

nine person unit

I lived in an amazing unit, both the people and the facilities were good.

* Food:

good lunch, dinner was alright, nothing special. I never got up for breakfast.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Utrecht it a great city, and queens day is one of the best days in holland

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I never had a problem with either

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 20 euro, food and housing is with tuition. So my money really only went to extracurricular activities.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? residents permit 433 euro!!
