What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
This study abroad experience was worth while. Traveling to India was such an amazing experience. I learned so much about a different culture and how people are living differently than I am. Going to the different businesses was also a good experience. I became more independent by traveling abroad, and it taught me more about myself. I would recommend this trip to anyone!

* Food:

It was my first time trying Indian food, I did like some of it but some I could of went without.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

Every student that attended the program made it an even better experience.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $150 for the two weeks of the trip
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I did not think that I was going to want to shop as much as I did. Bring extra money in case you find something interesting that you are going to want to take home.

Language

Language acquisition improvement?

On this trip I learned a few words in Hindi. Almost everything else was done in English.

A Look Back

Professor Gupta was great to travel abroad with, and very flexible when students suggested things to put on the itinerary.
