What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
very worthwhile. I wish we could have been there for longer. It has definitely made me aware that i definitely want to be a nurse and has opened up my eyes of different healthcare situations in low income areas.

Hotel in Juan Dolio <br /><br /> It was very nice

* Food:

Food was good, definitely enough and they gave us water bottles when we needed them for our days at work

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? not very much it was covered by the hotel
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? we were informed of everything beyond laundry but we were able to have our scrub uniforms washed

it helped to be with native speakers but my spanish was good coming in as well
