Service learning opportunies such as La Fondita de Jesus soup kitchen. Yes it has changed my future plans, I will now volunteer at my local soup kitchen.

I found out that everything can not be learned from reading books. Some lessons in life are learned through experiences. When dealing with personal issue, things that are close and upfront.

  • Puerto Rican History
  • Gaining a basic understanding of conerstional Spanish.
  • Became aware and introduced to the dynamics of poverty, health issues and enivironmental concerns in Puerto Rico.
* What could be improved?
  • Research to see if gallleries are still in existing.
  • Basics language must be learned
  • Trips on tours should not take longer than 20 minutes to get to. When you have 12 people traveling together.
