What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
There isn't enough time to discuss what I have learned. I had an amazing experience going abroad. It was definitely worthwhile and i would do it again in a heartbeat! More than anything I have learned not to be so wasteful and i no longer take even the littlest things for granted.

I learned a lot about Latin American countries when taking the service learning course. I wish I could have studied these topics in more depth during my time at Binghamton. I have found a great interest in Latin American studies :)

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

They made it feel like we always had someone to talk to, the faculty was very approachable and as friendly as our own peers during the trp which made our time there much more enjoyable :)

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Hostel etc

I enjoyed the different housing styles :) we were always near several atractions.

* Food:

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? we only payed out of pocket for alcoholic beverages and souvenirs. all other expenses were covered.
