The people in Administration were very kind and helpful.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I was in a homestay and was very nice, cultural experience.

* Food:

Food is spicy, but very delicious.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I found some local friends, but I think the interaction might have been better.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I had no health problems.

* Safety:

Women should be careful during night and not go alone; but I haven´t had any problem and I don´t know about any.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? India is cheap, but after it depends if somebody wants to go out or travel.

With some local is was useful to know basics of Hindi.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Try to find local friends and volunteer in an NGO.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I think I was quite prepared. I know some student were not prepared it might be quite cold in january.
