Study Abroad Programs in Hungary

it was fun, great expirience with having to organize oneself since there is no one to help you but yourself.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

there wasnt enough organization, since we lost a teacher right before the trip started and therefore didn't have meetings that where planned.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

it was the first one ever done, therefore the program wasnt as strong as it could be. My expectations where not met, from lack of organization, and from having the teacher who had organized the trip not go at the last minute.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

there are lots of small restaurants and gyro places around the city.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

It was great to meet new people interested in the same field, and get to work together to help eachother.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

didnt have any problems

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? food at some places, such as vienna was incredibly expensive.
