Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The class, field trips, and teacher were great only there was one problem I struggled with. The class was entitled Gods and Heroes of Classical Mythology and I expected to learn about the gods as well as the heroes. What I did learn about the gods was great, it was that we only touched based on them for two days and heroes for the rest of the class. I didn't mind learning about the heroes but I wanted to learn more about the gods.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The administration were excellent! Everyone was so nice and very helpful when I needed questions to be answered.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The housing was satisfying for what I needed it for but I just wasn't prepared for the typical college housing due to coming from a university with great on campus housing.

* Food:

I really enjoyed the food! Fish and chips are so much better in London that America!!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I loved learning and engaging in the culture and social aspects of London. It was great seeing things that were different but also the same as America.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I had no health issues while I was there so I have no comment on the health care.

* Safety:

The safety seemed to be very good and what we would see back at home.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

For the most part, I was able to live on a student's budget. There were some things I was not expecting that had to pay for when I went there but other than that, expenses were okay.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 100 to 150
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Make sure you budget for everything such as transportation, souvenirs wherever you go, and food.
