Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Great range of topics covered, combines a variety of learning styles and is a very interactive learning experience. The live event visit is a great way to give the learning some context.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Efficient, easy to apply, straightforward instructions on how the course will be run. We were supplied with all the teaching materials we needed and the friendly staff were on hand 24/7 if we had any questions.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We stayed in Lincoln College accommodation. The rooms were modern and well equipped, with en suite bathrooms. Tea and coffee facilities are refreshed daily.

* Food:

Breakfast and lunch was supplied daily in the canteen just off from the lecture room. There was a wide range of both hot and cold options, and there was definitely no shortage of supplies!

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

As the course was situated in the heart of the city, we were very much integrated into the culture of Oxford, and were given plenty of information about the area and it's attractions. There was students from all over the world so it was a great insight into different global attitudes to the event industry.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

In my experience I didn't require any healthcare at all, but staff were always on had should I need it!

* Safety:

Our rooms and learning facilities were all very secure and lockable so there was very little risk of an incident. On the event visit we were split into small group and assigned mentors should we get lost. Phone numbers were always exchanged should be need to get in contact with mentors in a hurry.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

As the course was only a week, managing our expenses was fairly straightforward.
