What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned so much from the culture and how people live and operate in a completely different continent. As well as how to get out of my comfort zone to meet new people and learned how to communicate more effectively with people from other places of the world.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Hang out with local people as opposed to people in your group. You'll want to speak english with other english speakers. So limit your time with them and branch out to meet new local folk.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Honestly, I think not knowing was what made this experience so wonderful and enlightening. The less I knew about something, the more enriching is was to me in the end.
