Hotel in Rome was not safe, I was worried about being mugged.

The food provided by EF was disappointing and cheap. However when we were allowed to eat in restaurants on our own it was great.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Food is more expensive and there were many excursions we added on to the trip that really added up.
