What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Yes, very worthwhile. Definitely wish I would of just gone on my own though, without the professors. Pointless to have them there.

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 0-2 weeks

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Everything we saw over there was amazing. I feel like I learned more in this class that I have in any other class with these professors.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Italy was a little weak, but Paris was amazing!

* Food:

It is a must to have a "want" to try different foods. There is such great cuisine out there! Just have to be brave and try new things.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Italy was surprisingly very cheap, to where we were able to save more than enough money for Paris.

* Was housing included in your program cost? Yes
* Was food included in your program cost? No
Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Including shopping, maybe $800. But without shopping, probably $100-$150.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Get $500, and be there to exchange the money so you can see what the rate looks like and you understand the difference.

* Did your program have a foreign language component? No
