If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The amount of cultural and local experiences I got while in London and Paris is something that was so amazing to be a part of. I would definitely do this program again because the professor was amazing and well informed about the areas, and the experience with the locals and the schools was so amazing.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? For 2 weeks, I spent 300 pounds and a little over $200.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Make sure you take at least $300 pounds and $200 Euros with you to London. It's better to already have the money on you then to wait till London or Paris to exchange the money. It's also a lot cheaper and a stress reliever. Also buy lunch from the grocery store and save your money for better things like eating at restaurants or cool sightseeing trips like the Tower of London or the London Eye.

* What did you like most about the program?
  • The exploring of London and Paris.
  • Seeing all the major sights of London and Paris.
  • Being around the locals and getting to know them.
* What could be improved?
  • Knowing where some good places to eat are.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I would have known to bring some nose medicine and Advil because due to the cold weather your nose will constantly be runny and the amount of walking will hurt your feet even if you do bring appropriate walking shoes.
