What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The trip was definitely worthwhile, and a great learning experience. I gained a broad insight of how other in poverty live and how the normal views of America differ from each country.

The food was hard for my stomach to adjust to, and once it did our trip was almost over. Also, I would want to go on a study abroad with students from different majors rather than all having the same one.

  • Incorporating different majors into this particular program rather than just Social work majors
  • The age range of who is allowed to go.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I now know that I need to have a friend or good colleuge to go with. The social aspect was a little hard for me when we had down time.
