What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely worthwhile! Doing the reading list made me improve individual learning skills and learned to pull challenging arguments together. Thoroughly analyzing these arguments helped me to better shape my own judgements when discussing these ideas with my tutor.

Overall a great experience, and I enjoyed my tutorials with most of the Oxford tutors. I love how my tutorials became more personalized with my academic interests.

Absolutely great housing! Appliances were mostly new and the Porter's lodge was helpful and responsive.

Great selection of food and amazing breakfast and formal dinners.

Almost everyone I have met is friendly and approachable

Safety has never been a concern during my time at Oxford.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I was given the platform to pursue any topic I am interested in exploring further within my major. Because of the opportunity to have personalized tutorials, I took an interdisciplinary approach to my studies.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? It was difficult to find a research program that would take visiting students. I wish visiting students were given more opportunities to pursue research.
