Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Make meals with friends...trade off buying essentials: milk, bread, etc. See if the school or related organizations provide food. For example, at SCU, there was food provided to students on campus for free every Tuesday, and school clubs often had different events in which you could eat for free!
