Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I found my own housing without any help from academic institutions

* Food:

I provided for myself with personal funds. No academic institution was involved in my feeding.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I had a plethora of previous connections in the city I studied abroad.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I am a European citizen and therefore used the same public health system I use everywhere else in Europe

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

based on personal preferences. I focus on nonwestern contemporary art, which is something wellesley doesnt have. The school of oriental and African studies was inarguably the best place to study that.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

a "student's budget"is very subjective and the above description does not really make sense.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? this is personal information
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? walk everywhere and don't eat a lot
