Course are very reading intensive and require more independent learning than in American Universities

The study abroader adviser was very helpful however it would have been great to receive information sooner in order to plan ahead. The system was very slow at times

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Good location. Only includes standard dorm furniture you will need to buy bedding and cookware.

* Food:

Meals are not provided by the dorm. Buying produce from local markets cuts down on costs.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

SOAS hosted many cultural events on campus. Also the Bloomsbury film festival was nice

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Like many big cities there good and bad areas. You should travel with friends when going out partying.
