SIT Study Abroad: India: Public Health, Policy Advocacy, and Community
I wanted to go abroad to a place most different from the way I live. India fulfilled that and I learned a lot about the social and political forces that drive public health in India. Totally worthwhile! Though because the program was dedicated to public health, I felt like that was all India was about and I wish I could have had the time to appreciate India from a different angle.

Yes
I would not have as meaningful an experience if I did not go to India with SIT. For me, the cultural and social differences would have been hard to appreciate and validate if I were not experiencing them through a public health lens with teachers and staff who could contextualize and synthesize those differences for us. |
