Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I have no complaints about the overall academic experience - it was a huge positive addition to the experience of travel within countries. The only thing that someone needs to be prepared for when doing SAS is the sea sickness that is inevitable for most and sometimes making attending class and doing work nearly intolerable.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The administration was full of a number of individuals who had sailed previously on multiple occasions, they truly made the trip what it was sharing their experiences and knowledge with us to help us engage with our own experience more fully.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

They were very accomodating on the ship as I have a vegan diet and needed special food to be made. They graciously made me my own lunch and dinner every day and brought it to me wherever I sat in the dining hall.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
