Learned field research skills, discovered that I love working on a research vessel, learned navigation and sailing skills, found that I enjoy living in close quarters in a small community, and learned about the science and policy behind marine conservation in the most hands-on way possible.

Phenomenal experience. Academically rigorous and challenging, rewarding, fantastic professors, mentors, crew, and guest lecturers, and discovered how much I love oceanographic field research. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I would highly recommend to anyone with a love for science, the ocean, and a sense of adventure! |
