Being abroad showed me how Americans are socialized to believe our country is the best in a lot of fields and lifestyle etc. However being abroad you get to see another cultures different view of success and lifestyle therefore making you question your own lifestyle and goals. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Past Review C'est La Vie
The greatest thing about being abroad was being able to live & breath the European culture & lifestyle. I had never left Texas before and so this was a huge change for me, in many ways. It was worthwhile in the sense that every stereotype or cliche i brought with me was put to the test. And while some may have held true, most... - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review

A student studying abroad with Sciences Po: Paris - Direct Enrollment & Exchange
YESSSS!!!! I know what I want to do with my life now. I chose the career path I really want to take, and am not going to law school anymore. I had the best time, I did everything I dreamed of doing in Paris and more, things I didn't even imagine would happen. I met some really AMAZING people,.. and i get nostalgic thinking about... - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I learned more from the people I met and the time I spent traveling than I learned in the classroom. My advice to anybody going abroad is to not stress school and to embrace what a unique opportunity study abroad is, I wish I could do it again. It was absolutely worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Absolutely worthwhile. Travelling for 3 months at the end of my studies was the best decision I made. Everyone should study abroad, although not necessarily through SciPo. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I learned a lot about myself, and the people around me. I was able to get to know a lot of international students, and have even re-evaluated my future plans based on my experience abroad. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Past Review La Vie Es Belle
I can live on my own and that I can manage my finances to a certain extent. It was definitely worth every penny and I would do it over again and again - St. Mary's College of Maryland View Entire Review
I learned a lot about French culture and I improved my confidence with using French. - St. Mary's College of Maryland View Entire Review
Honestly haven't not improved my French and spent more money than I'd like to for a lesser educational experience I wouldn't do it again. Sure I learned cultural things but frankly, what good does that do me? Paris is cool and all until you have to literally pay for it everyday. The school and city are both wildly overrated in m... - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I definitely learned so many things. Mostly about myself. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I learned to adapt to a new culture, a new environment, a new way of living, a new language, new people, all by myself without any support from family or friends from home (except by phone/email). I think this experience really showed me what I'm capable of, and I'm really glad that I went by myself instead of with friends, beca... - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
The experience is what you make of it. - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review

Past Review Fall In Paris
My experience in Paris was extremely worthwhile. I learned a lot, gained a lot of world knowledge, saw things I never thought I would have the opportunity to see, traveled the continent, developed my own professional interests, met some incredible life long friends from around the world and had an amazing time. It was really inc... - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
I learned a lot about dealing with the French bureaucracy and in general about dealing with being somewhere alone and relying on no one but yourself. It was definitely worthwhile - The University of Texas at Austin View Entire Review
Different approaches to academics, new paradigms, writing style and independent study. At times frustrating with the school's registrar and admin work, but overall a good and rigorous experience at one of France's best universities. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

My experience was extremely worthwhile in helping me with my language skills but also with a lot of general skills such as being independent and taking initiative to figure complicated situations out on my own. It also helped me to focus my academic interests both by helping realize what I don't want to study in depth and by sho... - University of California - San Diego View Entire Review
YES!!! I loved living in France and I cannot wait to be able to return. My program led me to look into the Sciences Po-Harvard dual degree for law school. - St. Mary's College of Maryland View Entire Review
