* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

the rooms in the dorms are spacious with either a mountain view or sea view depending on which side of the dorm, amazing to wake up to! apartment living in Sorrento is very nice too and not too far of a walk to school.

* Food:

food is amazing ! The garden at Sant'Anna Institute offer lemons, oranges, and kiwi! the restaurants offer Italian

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

locals treat you as family as time grows on, from recognizing your name to your favorite meals. Many locals speak English but will also help you to learn Italian.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

there is a hospital very close to the institute and healthcare is easily acquired. the institute also has first aid kits readily available if needed and a counselor for any issues.

* Safety:

Sorrento is very safe. I feel completely comfortable walking alone even at night. the institute has a gate and cameras for staff to ensure safety among dorming students.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

check exchange rates, Sorrento is pretty decent with prices but most students like to spend extra on new places to dine

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? save as much as possible before the trip, most students enjoy weekend trips because flights around Europe are at very low cost
