I acquired a greater understanding of Italian culture and society and the experience opened my eyes to the diversity and beauty of the rest of the world.

I stayed in a very comfortable and centrally located apartment with some other girls in the program.

Italian food is worthy of every praise.

The locals were very welcoming and kind.

I felt safe walking through the streets late at night, I had no safety issues.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I absolutely loved my time abroad in Sorrento, Italy. Sorrento is romantic, safe, and very picturesque. The classes at the Sant'Anna Institute are interesting (and include field trips) and the school is warm and inviting. Being able to travel on the weekends was great and made my experience in Italy a dream come true.

Eating out is a bit expensive but there are grocery stores where one can budget.
