A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • The host staff was an amazing group.
* What could be improved?
  • I felt that even though Sant anna is a language school I would have found it more helpful if we had instead of a full blown italian class i would have found it more helpful for like a survival course would have beneifited more. for example, learn how to ask for directions, ask for the check, where does this train go, more day-to-day phrases. I'm just starting to put sentences together and its two days before i leave, I was lost in the italian language for 4 months.. Only suggestion.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? That you're on your own a lot to get to and from places.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
