Round River Conservation Studies - Mongolia Conservation Program

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a lot about the conservation efforts of the Taku River Tlingit (in congruence with Round River). I gained a new perspective on conservation and the importance of protecting wild and untouched places.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The academics were fast-paced (since it is a 6 week program) but definitely manageable and very interesting.

We often had people over for dinner and we also participated in multiple local events/celebrations.

This program undoubtedly changed my perspective on the world and the course of my life. I loved every aspect of the program; every single day brought something new and meaningful. I would do the program again if I could!
