Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Things were always done on time and ready for us, because we worked with a foundation in Nepal they were able to help us and naveagate around the red tape of bureaucracy. Things seemed a little unorganized because of the language barrier and we didn't always know what was going on until the last minute.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Lived in a guest house and hotels. Lived with Rollins students and SHF members

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I felt the service project was more culturally enriching than the touristy part; however, i still learned a lot the 2nd week.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt safe the entire time and the SHF admins made sure we felt safe. and we were with a group of doctors the majority of the time and i feel as if they are well equiped to handle medical problems.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? nothing was unanticipated. it was mainly a few meals and souvieners.
