The field study in Athens only confirmed that the MLS degree program is well suited for me and I want to travel even more to enhance my knowledge of what I study with firsthand experience.

Food in Greece was fresh and delicious.

* Safety:

Athens is a fast paced and crowded city but did not have any safety concerns. Just have to stay alert and pay attention to your surroundings.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Approximately 4-5 euros a day for bottled water Only lunches were not included and usually spent about 10-18 euros.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Just make sure to always allow a small amount each day for bottled water.
