Review Your Program

It was alright. very different from what i'm used to, but i still learned a lot.

* Host Country Program Administration

They were great and very helpful!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

It was good food, but they served limited amounts of vegetables. We had to seek those out on our own.

The programs was great about making us aware of all of the social and cultural events going on in the area.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I went to the "doctor" once. It wasn't very good (the doctor just googled my symptoms in front of me and then gave me my medication. However, the program staff was very attentive.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent approximately $75 a week on random expenses (going out with friends, etc)
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Just be careful with the euro conversion.
