Thailandia Past Review

By (Philosophy., St. Mary's College of Maryland) - abroad from 08/10/2013 to 12/21/2013 with

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was great. The program was kind of bad but Thailand was amazing. I tell people that if I had attended the program and I was not in Thailand, I would not have had a good time. But Thailand was incredible and life changing and I did learn a lot in the program, just not necessarily in the classroom.

The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
