What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned to be on my own for the first time and all of the relationships that I made. I learned a lot through my courses and It was definitely worth it.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I learned a lot through each class that I took, which was Paris in Black and White, Paris Fashion Culture, and Fashion Editorial. My teachers pushed me to be the best I could be and it was overall the best teaching experience that I have ever had.

On-site administration of your program

Everyone in administration was very kind and helpful to all students that attended the summer courses.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Paris College of Art put their students through a company called Comforts of Home and overall it went very well. The housing was very nice and I was roommates with people that I still consider my best friends.

* Food:

There are a variety of food options around the school for everyone’s needs.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

In class, we went on a lot of outings with my group of classmates and we were introduced to many popular spots in Paris. And outside of class, it took time, but I felt very integrated in the local culture as I lived there.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I did not have any problems with health but Paris College of Art gave us a list of English speaking doctors as well as local information of pharmacies.

* Safety:

It was very safe and Paris College of Art administration made all students aware of different risks that occasionally happen around the city.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Paris College of Art is so helpful and has amazing atmosphere. The teachers are so understanding and the people are my forever friends.

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Around 7 euros per meal but you can definitely go cheaper.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Always have backup money options just in case of emergencies.
