I learned more of a language. I made lifelong friends. I had the experience of living completely on my own and being somewhere I might never be again. It was completely worthwhile.

I feel as though its more difficult to feel culturally connected when you dont speak the language. Also I was in Paris during a difficult time for the Parisians and there were topics of conflict which I had no right to speak on. |

Pharmacys are really great places to go when you have a minor cold. The workers there are trained to tell you what medicine you need and what may be the problem. |

I like to eat out and eat fancy foods. Restaurants in Paris are expensive but great quality food and totally worth it. |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Cook at home, dont eat so much baguette and cheese. At first that seems like a really good idea but youll regret it later. |
