Academic rigor and intensity are very high- you will learn a lot!

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

Be prepared for a lack of privacy- most housing arrangements have all twenty plus students in one dormitory style room

Besides the three-day village homestay, the program is not integrated with local culture.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Very easily- the only time I spent more than I would have liked was when we had our Spring break in Cape town.
