About

Stuttgart is a pleasant and lively city, is the capital of Baden-Wurttemberg, one of the most prosperous, export orientated "Lander" (States) in the Federal Republic, situated in southwest Germany. Stuttgart has a good central location, with Basle, Strasbourg and Munich only a few hours' drive away on the freeway. The NRCSA Center in Stuttgart opened in 1972, and began teaching German in the early 1980's. Well-known for its relaxed and friendly atmosphere teachers are always ready to chat over a cup of coffee. All teachers are specially trained in teaching German as a foreign language, and classroom are equipped with audio and video facilities. Group courses are limited to 10 participants per class. Families are carefully selected and students are asked to fill out a homestay evaluation so housing coordinators can monitor how students and family members are getting along. Most families are within easy reach of the Institute, with a typical journey time is about 30 minutes. Lodging in a single room with breakfast daily is included. Students will receive full details two weeks before arrival. Students usually arrive on the Sunday before the beginning of the course and leave on the Sunday after the course ends. Additional nights can be arranged upon request.
