About

The NRCSA Center in Regensburg was founded in 1986, and has earned a good international reputation for its high standard of teaching and its personal, friendly, and unbureaucratic working ethos. The main emphasis of the German courses lies in the following areas:

• The development of communication skills in spoken and written present-day German.
• An introduction to the contemporary social, political and cultural situation in Germany.

Working in small groups of mixed nationalities, students will experience a variety of teaching methods in which cognitive, communicative, spontaneous and creative elements are combined. The ever increasing number of participants and the large percentage of students who return are proof of the school's successful teaching methods. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced in teaching German as a foreign language and in working with adults.

To ensure that students feel relaxed, and at home in Regensburg, we take great care in choosing the student residences and host families. The lodging coordinator is in constant contact with host families and residences to ensure that are living up the expectations of the students. Students have their choice of a single or double room with a family or in the residence where cooking facilities are available. Additionally, students may use the university canteen where both midday and evening meals are very reasonably priced. Student residences and families are located in residential areas and not farther away than 20 minutes by bus or bike.
