About

Private one-on-one tutor foreign language classes are provided by your teacher at your lodging. Teachers are highly trained professionals with years of experience in the teaching of their language to foreigners.

Lodging is in homestays of native speakers with all meals provided. Only the target language is spoken in the homestay. Residences are typically outside of heavily touristed areas, in neighborhoods where the target language predominates.

About Quebec - French Only : Québec City's impressive location above the St. Lawrence River and its virtually unblemished Old Town of 18th- and 19th-century houses, gives Quebec City a more French appearance than most other cities in Quebec. The vast majority of the city's residents speak French, and far fewer are bilingual, as most Montréalers are. (In the province as a whole, about 81% of citizens are Francophone.) With that homogeneity and its status as the putative capital of a future independent nation, citizens seem to suffer less anxiety over what might happen down the road.

About Toronto - English Only: Toronto is economic and cultural focus of English-speaking Canada based on northern shore of Lake Ontario. Canada's largest metropolis, Toronto has been working hard to create a city to proud of through real estate development, sponsorship of the arts, a very good public transport system, and on the reclamation of the lakefront. Museums and galleries have been popping up all over, including the the Art Gallery of Ontario, the Royal Ontario Museum and the Gallery of Inuit Art. And for the traveler that wants the whole Canadian experience, the Hockey Hall of Fame is just waiting for you.

About Vancouver - English Only: Vancouver is all about land and sea as it sits snugly on a narrow peninsula bordered by Burrard Inlet, English Bay and False Creek, with greater Vancouver spreading south to the Fraser River. The city's 1.8 million residents enjoy every type of outdoor activity that's been invented, from sailing, swimming, fishing, hiking, to skiing, golf or tennis. Vancouver claims an excellent museum and symphony orchestra, as well as impressive and expressive opera, theatre and dance companies. Festivals run in high gear during mild weather and the club and live-band scene is quickly coming into its own. Like Montreal, the citizenry is a mix of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, with a Chinatown that rivals San Francisco's. Toronto also became North America's largest film and TV production centre after Los Angeles and New York in the 1990's.
