Worthwhile is such an understatment. Studying a new language opens up many new doors to friendships, opprotunities, cultures... it is invaluble. The deeper you let yourself fall into the new culture, the more satisfaction you'll get when you're there and when you leave. I saw some people make a huge mistake in other programs- th... About
Teaching Spanish to foreigners is not just our job, but our passion at the NRCSA center in Buenos Aires. We have a solid history of language training, and were one of the first in Argentina to focus exclusively on the teaching of Spanish to foreigners. All teachers at the institute hold a University Degree in Education or Literature and have extensive experience in teaching Spanish to foreigners. This, accompanied by our solid internal structure, and small group class sizes allows us effectively instruct students of all levels in the Spanish Language. PROGRAMS Standard Group -20 group lessons/week -50 minute classes -3-6 students per class Group + Tutorial -20 group lessons/week -3-6 students per class -8 private tutor lessons/week -50 minute classes Private Classes -20 hours of private classes/week -50 minute classes We recommend students take advantage of staying in a homestay to practice their Spanish and be exposed to local culture. Middle class families are carefully selected and provide each student with a private room. Do not assume that you are too old for a homestay as many of our students are older than their host "parents". For many of our students, their homestay is one of the most rewarding experience. One of the most popular housing option is the shared apartment, where you will live with other students. No meal plan is available with the shared apartments, however you have kitchen access to prepare your own meals. The rooms are furnished with bedding provided. The bathroom and kitchen are communal. Students should bring their own towels. Furthermore, cooperation with other students is necessary as the common areas are maintained only once per week. Most of the apartments are 20-25 minutes away by public transportation. Keys will be given to the student upon arrival on the Sunday afternoon before classes begin.
