What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I met many international students and was able to travel to many different countries. It was worth it, but I wish I would have studied in any other Western European country other than France...I can safely say it was my least favorite country of them all.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

There was no challenge and very little outside work required. It was the easiest academic semester of my college career.

The administration were nice and helpful, although sometimes a bit disorganized.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

They did not speak English, but the rooms and fascilities were very nice

The food is one of the best parts of France

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

There were not many opportunities to interact with the local French students, so I spent most of the time the international students

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Even though I had international health insurance, I still had to purchase it through the school.

* Safety:

I never felt unsafe

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • There were 50 other international students from all around the world who were very nice and interesting to talk to.
* What could be improved?
  • I would have liked more interaction with French students
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? The city was smaller and less interesting than I anticipated, and France was not as culterally stimulating as the other countries I visited
