Exercise in Independence Past Review

By (International Relations, The University of Texas at Austin) - abroad from 08/10/2015 to 12/04/2015 with

Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESM): Queretaro - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I loved Mexico, and although I didn't make as much of an effort to perfect my Spanish as I should have, I learned a lot from my Mexican friends about local culture. I also learned a lot about cultural exchange from my international friends. I enjoyed representing the United States abroad and learning more about the ties between the US and Mexico.
