What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a great ammount about cultural differences among countries. I also learned some vital leadreship experience and made great connections with past Millsaps alumni working abroad.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Loved the manner in which we held class. Learned a ton about leadership as well as valuable life lessons.

On-site administration of your program

Dr. Beeler and Dr. Foser did an excellent job coordinating the classes and fieldtrips that we made. They ligned up some excellent speakers and tours which enriched the entire experience. They also maintained a perfect balance of structure and freedom which really allowed us to explore the cities in which we studied.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

London was extremely hot and the dorms did not have air conditioning. This is out of the ordinary however. The location of our dorms in London was excellent. It was a very good area and i never felt unsafe. The smae goes for Munich and Florence.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The proffesors really encouraged us to experience the various cultures and immerse ourrselves in each city.

never felt unsafe for the enrtire month we were abroad.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Manage your money at the beginning of the trip so you can fully experience Germany and Italy. London is extremely exppensive.
