Besides improved language skills, I appreciate that I got to experience a different aspect of Brazilian culture that isn't often featured in US media. Minas Gerais is very different from Rio. It was worthwhile! - Wellesley College View Entire Review
My Portuguese skills got VERY good, I met amazing people that I know I'll keep in touch with, and I also got to better understand the complexities of Brazil's history, culture, and politics. It was absolutely worthwhile. - Macalester College View Entire Review
I built a life for myself in a different country, culture, and language, which was empowering. I learned so much about Brazil's people and their perspective on life, which has made me reflect on my own values and priorities. This cultural exchange was invaluable for me. - Tufts University View Entire Review
