It was the best program for learning the language, but I feel like I could do it better a second time around.

Finances

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

* We were responsible for transport-- which was on the whole Taxis, this ended up being quite expensive.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Maybe $25-50
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to pack your own food and snacks to last you during the day. If you go to cafes, try to purchase the cheapest option on the menu.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Keep trying, and don't be afraid to mess up-- people will make fun of your regardless! Learn to laugh at yourself! Be sure to take time for yourself, mental breaks will be needed.
