While abroad, my Spanish skills improved. I also learned a lot about the culture of the city. I was absolutely worthwhile!

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I spent roughly $70 a week
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? To save money, do not go out to dinner too often and keep track of how much you are spending each week. Bring your own toiletries, sun tan lotion, etc. so you don't have to buy any.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? Try to speak the language with other students on the program. If possible, attempt to use the language 24/7. Do activities with your host family and go out in the town and talk to people to better your language skills.
