Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The academic component of the course was excellent and relevant

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program organisers are excellent and very experienced. I can recommend this program to anybody.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The accommodation was very basic shared accommodation. I asked for and paid for a room by myself being an older student. it was satisfactory. However the hostel in Vienna was very nice, clean and excellent place to stay. I also paid extra for a single room being much older than the average students.

* Food:

The food in the Czech was great. We had great advice by the program organisers who recommended places to eat, shop and drink at. the welcome drink was so nice and they took the trouble to find out about each person and help them feel at home.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Very much enjoyed the excursions and cultural trips. Well organised and interesting.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

none to report.

* Safety:

The Czech is a safe place to visit. We were never in any danger or felt threatened. However, at the accommodation, some single men attempted to intimidate and engage with the young girls on the program. However, this was resolved.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

The organisers/facilitators academics in the Czech were amazing, friends and helpful in every way. It was the best program by far I have attended. Brno, Prague and Vienna are fantastic places to learn and be. I loved Brno, very easy to get around too on the trams. I also felt very included in the program even being 20 years older than the kids. We joined with the legal students and I was able to find another older person that I could hang with. But the kids I roomed with were amazing, kind and beautiful.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

The Czech is very cheap for Australians

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $200.00
