Overall Experience
A student studying abroad with Masaryk University: Brno - Direct Enrollment & Exchange
I learnt a lot about program searching. Never go for a program just because it's cheap. - Chinese University of Hong Kong / CUHK View Entire Review
It was absolutely worth it. I had unforgettable experiences, made incredible friends, and had to learn to adapt in a way you don’t have to when you travel for a short time period. - Oklahoma State University - Stillwater View Entire Review
Like I mentioned above, it was the best experience of my life. While my studies and food experiences were not quite what I expected, I would still do it all over again in a heartbeat. I really miss all of it. It made me look at the United States completely differently and made me appreciate all the luxuries I have at home, such ... - Kansas State University View Entire Review
It was wonderful. There's not any single thing I can say that I learned. Instead, I have to try and explain how every aspect of my life has shifted. - Oklahoma State University - Stillwater View Entire Review
YES! Best time of my life. You experience a unique culture and meet many amazing people along the way. - Ithaca College View Entire Review
It was really difficult for me to be so far away from my friends and family, so my best advice would be to throw yourself into your new experience and not dwell on the things that you are missing back home. - New Mexico State University View Entire Review
I learned so much, but not much from the courses. I learned independence and confidence. I tried so many new things and went to 15+ countries over the course of 10 months so that in itself was worthwhile. - University of Toronto View Entire Review
So much, I gained friends from around the world, I gained.. a lot of weight, but I also gained knowledge and experiences that I would never be able to get otherwise. It was so worth it and I will be telling everyone who asks me to go, just go! - Oklahoma State University - Stillwater View Entire Review
This experience was most definitely worthwhile! I never thought that I could learn as many things as I did in simply four months. I was surrounded by so many different languages and cultures all the time. I learned so much about myself and so much about the world. My future plans have definitely changed. As soon as I finish univ... - SUNY - College at Oswego View Entire Review
Worthwhile, definitely. My wallet hurts, my liver hurts. I've seen a lot, experienced a lot, and met great people. However, the classes were a mockery to education. - SUNY - College at Oswego View Entire Review
Yes, it was worthwhile. I am an engineer. I work in strict settings, it was a whole new world for me. I spent an entire year abroad, studying philosophy and sociology. Life was easy, and it was good. I catch myself smiling sometimes for no apparent reason, just letting my mind flash to memories of my time abroad. The cold ... - Oklahoma State University - Stillwater View Entire Review

It's one of those experiences in which I'm glad I did it but I would do some (not all) things differently. My main problem was that there was no socializing without alcohol, but that's just me and I'm sure it's not exclusive to Masaryk University. - Nebraska Wesleyan University View Entire Review
