I gained a better sense of confidence in my lab and field skills.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The academic courses were challenging but rewarding. Lots of hands on experience.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I loved the living arrangements that I was provided.

* Food:

The food was decent and had good service hours.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The program was on Cape Cod so there was not too much of a cultural shock associated with the program.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Health issues were handled well. The TA's were always willing to drive you to the doctor in the case of illness or injury.

* Safety:

Woods Hole was a very safe place to study.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

You can never have too much field experience and this course definitely helps with giving you an enormous amount of hands on experience in both field and lab techniques.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

There were minimal external expenses. The only extra expenses were if you cared to venture to Martha's Vineyard.
