What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
My semester in Australia was the most amazing time of my life. I learned so much about the culture and most importantly, myself. I met people from all over the world, made friends I will keep forever, and saw places I never dreamed of. I would never trade the experience I had and I would recommend this to anyone in a second.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I learned very much from all of my courses and professors. It was also incredibly interesting to have such diverse classes because I was able to hear different opinions from people all over the world.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program was terrific. I felt very prepared and always knew there was someone there that I could go to for help if in need. All of my expectations were met.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

See above comments.

* Food:

There was no meal plan so I had to rely on myself for meals.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Going to the Great Barrier Reef and to Fiji were some of the greatest experiences of my life!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I always felt very safe. The program requires getting Medical Insurance through them so I felt comfortable knowing I was covered if anything were to happen.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Definitely save up before leaving. Going out is not cheap but totally worth it.
