Studying Abroad at Macquarie Uni Past Review

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The opportunity to study abroad as a student was such an amazing adventure for me. I spent 4 months studying Neuroscience in Sydney, Australia and every single thing about my program exceeded my expectations, as did the location and kindness of the people who helped me along the way - both at ASC and abroad. Learning in a classroom setting significantly larger and vastly different from that found at Agnes Scott made me appreciate our student-professor contact like I never had before. There was no question I had that went unanswered and living abroad as a Scottie cemented my notions of what it means to be a strong, independent woman in the best of ways. I learned more about life and about myself than I probably learned in class, but what I learned was far more valuable and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
