What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned a great deal about a culture much different than my own. It was worthwhile because I got to meet some of my more distant family members who I had never met before and I was able to see a great deal of Italy.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had taken more time to learn and practice some Italian phrases. I thought the Spanish I knew beforehand might help because it is similar to Italian, but it did not help me as much as I hoped it would.
